The inspection of low voltage
electrical installations is regulated by the “LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL REGULATIONS” (* REBT) and its
“COMPLEMENTARY TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS” (ITC) published in Royal
Decree 842/2002 and establishes the following obligations that affect owner
communities

known as a link installation that joins the general protection box (CGP),

buildings, the meters will have to be centralized and in the case of not being
immediately feasible, the most convenient route will be adopted to make the

are executed in residential buildings with integral reform, the meters will

Therefore, space or place will have to be available. It will be
ensured that these facilities are always located and run in places of common
use.
The old layout does not imply that the new installation has to be
adjusted. Modifications must be made by an authorized installer.
Therefore, the installer who has to offer reform of this electrical
installation will have to do so by centralizing the meters. In the event
that this solution is impossible for structural reasons of the building, you
will have to agree with the distribution company. If the solution is a
meter cabinet but these exceed 16 units, it will also require the approval and
